There's a common misconception that babies need to be asleep for their photo shoots. However, I'm here to tell you that some of the most precious moments can happen when they are wide awake! Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a beautiful 4-week-old named Elora, and sleep was definitely not on her agenda. And you know what? That's totally okay!
Elora, with her bright eyes and curious expressions, brought a unique charm to her photos. There's something incredibly special about capturing a baby's wakeful moments—their gazes, tiny movements, and even the occasional yawn. These awake moments allow for a different kind of connection, showcasing the early personality that's beginning to bloom.
This shoot was particularly special to me, as I've known Elora’s parents for many years. Being invited to capture such a significant time in their lives is an immense privilege. The trust and comfort we shared made the session smooth and enjoyable, allowing for genuine, heartfelt photos that truly represent their family’s love and joy.
